Welcome to My Personal Page
On September 7th and 8th, I will be joining hundreds of other individuals riding 100 or 200 hundred miles in support of TPAN's newly reimagined Ride for Life Chicago!
TPAN serves individuals across all identities of race, ethnicity, and gender. Most who access our care are low-income LGBT individuals and people of color – community members most impacted by HIV in Chicago. TPAN’s Ride for Life Chicago supports direct care and services right here at home.
I'm participating in this event to raise vital funds to support HIV services in the community. In addition, through my participation, and with your support we will continue to raise awareness around HIV in an effort to reduce the debilitating effects of shame and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
HIV is only one of our areas of expertise. TPAN is the care provider for hundreds of older adults, many of whom are long-term survivors of HIV. Older adults living with chronic illness turn to TPAN to access expert care delivered with dignity and compassion.
Elements of TPAN's health care and services range from puppies to PrEP! One example of TPAN on the front lines: Our LGBTQ youth drop-in program and health intervention programs engage hundreds of young adults and has received national recognition for their innovative program design and successes!
The months of training and preparing for this Ride is nothing compared to what people living with HIV go through on a daily basis. Make a donation to my fundraising page today and consider joining me and my team by registering to Ride 100 or 200 miles, Crew, or become a Legacy/Virtual Rider!
Thank you for supporting my efforts.
EMPOWERING LIVES AFFECTED BY HIV
TPAN’s Ride for Life Chicago is the unique cycling and fundraising event to support the lifesaving work of TPAN and its community partners. For more than 15 years, the Ride has been a critical engine of support for our delivery of healthcare and services to people living with HIV/AIDS and related health conditions. In that time, the Ride has helped TPAN deliver care to tens of thousands of individuals and had a profound impact.
The Ride brings together thousands of donors and hundreds of volunteers, cyclists, and advocates to ensure that nearly 2,000 people per year have access to TPAN's care and services at no cost. Through participants' commitment to cycle 100-200 miles over 2 days, our riders and volunteers share their stories of triumph over HIV, their commitment to end HIV/AIDS, and TPAN’s success in providing expert, compassionate health services to individuals and families across Chicago.
