Murph's Ride 2022
I'm raising money for the Ride For Life Chicago 2022 (June 18-19) because I want to help raise vital funds to support HIV services in the community. I also want to continue to raise awareness around HIV in an effort to reduce the effects of shame and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
This year is more important than ever! Access to care is even more important in these unprecedented times. TPAN has been offering tele-health services, as well as restoring an increasing number in-person services. Your donation will support TPAN’s services!
What are TPAN’s services?
HIV healthcare, outreach and prevention, primary care services, peer support, and social services to people who often have nowhere else to turn. Its innovative programs and clinical services address issues across the lifespan - from providing LGBTQ homeless youth with drop-in services and connection to housing support and medical care, to delivering mental health services for older adults living with HIV. TPAN also delivers treatment information and education to more than 100,000 people across the country through its care journal and magazine, Positively Aware. A new program launched in 2019, called Paws and Effect, connects isolated individuals in Chicago to a new way of healing with an innovative dog-pairing program. As of mid-2020, five canines were each placed with and individual in need, with great results!
I need your support, no matter what amount!
