Join Me for my 8th Ride for AIDS Chicago
Thanks for swinging by my Ride for AIDS Chicago page. This is my 8th year with the Ride for AIDS Chicago. I've been lucky enough to participate as both a rider and crew for this event. This year I'm saddling back up for the trek!
I joined the Ride many years ago to challenge myself to complete a physical challenge of riding 200 miles, through 3 states, in two days. I ended up challenging myself, my friends, colleagues and good people who care to join me to help fight HIV/AIDS. To date, I've personally raised over $15,000 for the Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN). Sometimes things just work out different than you think and you're better for it.
In addition to riding, this year I am again on the Executive Committee as the Chair of Team Captains support. While I'm raising money for this great organization, I'm also committed to inspiring others to do so along the way! I know you're generosity and kind words will go a long way for me and for the Riders and Crew raising awareness and funds along side me.
I have a challenge for you. I would love for you to choose to join me along these 200 miles as a Rider, Crew Member, Corporate Sponsor, or Donor. Let me know how I can support your decision.
Throughout the season I will be posting updates here and on social media. I would love your encouragement, stories, and laughs!
Thanks for joining me in this journey!
Through the Ride for Life Chicago, thousands of donors and more than 300 volunteer cyclists, advocates, crew, and team members help provide care to 2,000 people every year in Chicago and a lifeline of HIV health and treatment information to more than 100,000 people across the country. Our mission is to empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. The name “Ride for Life” reflects this event’s powerful impact: every mile, every donation and sponsorship, and every volunteer helps save lives through the work of TPAN and our community partners.
