Support my 9th Ride for Life Chicago!
I'm raising money for the Ride For Life Chicago 2021, my ninth year, because I want to raise vital funds to support HIV services in the community. With your support, we will continue to raise awareness about HIV and reduce the shame and stigma!
This year is more important than ever! Access to care is especially important during this global pandemic! TPAN has been offering tele-health services, as well as restoring an increasing number of in-person services. Your donation, which can be one-time or monthly, will support TPAN’s services.
What does The Ride do?
The Ride brings together donors, volunteers, cyclists, and advocates to ensure that nearly 2,000 people per year have access to TPAN's life-saving care and services at no cost.
What are TPAN’s services?
It includes HIV care, outreach and prevention, primary care services, peer support, and social services to people who often have nowhere else to turn. Its innovative programs and clinical services address issues across the lifespan - from providing LGBTQ homeless youth with drop-in services and connection to housing support and medical care, to delivering mental health services for older adults living with HIV.
TPAN also delivers treatment information and education to more than 100,000 people across the country through its care journal and magazine, Positively Aware. An exciting new program launched in 2019, called Paws and Effect, connects isolated individuals in Chicago to a new way of healing with an innovative dog-pairing program. As of mid-2020, five canines were each placed with and individual in need, with great results!
I wish I could do it all myself, but I need your support! Any amount is generous and appreciated.

Through the Ride for Life Chicago, thousands of donors and more than 300 volunteer cyclists, advocates, crew, and team members help provide care to 2,000 people every year in Chicago and a lifeline of HIV health and treatment information to more than 100,000 people across the country. Our mission is to empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. The name “Ride for Life” reflects this event’s powerful impact: every mile, every donation and sponsorship, and every volunteer helps save lives through the work of TPAN and our community partners.
