Welcome to Tom Hunter's Personal Page!
For the 7th year, on September 12, after a year off in 2020 due to COVID-19, I will once again join hundreds of cyclists, volunteers, and everyday advocates on TPAN's Ride for Life Chicago. We aim to raise funds that support health care and supportive services for more than 4,000 people in Chicago! I'll be fundraising, training, and riding 100 miles to show my commitment to the community, to TPAN, and to Chicago House.
Aging and arthritic joints will not stop me from doing this again! I am committed to making it the full distance of 100 miles. It is that important to me. The funds we raise truly make a difference for TPAN, its partner organizations, to Chicago House, and the people they serve and help.
OUR MISSION: Empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. Reduce the stigma, shame and fear experienced by those living with HIV!
I'm proud to help TPAN and Chicago House and their community partners deliver on that promise every day.
Please join me in the Ride for Life Chicago with your donation or sponsorship! Your support provides lifesaving care. Any gift that's meaningful to you means a lot to our effort!
Thank you one and all!
Through the Ride for Life Chicago, thousands of donors and more than 300 volunteer cyclists, advocates, crew, and team members help provide care to 2,000 people every year in Chicago and a lifeline of HIV health and treatment information to more than 100,000 people across the country. Our mission is to empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. The name “Ride for Life” reflects this event’s powerful impact: every mile, every donation and sponsorship, and every volunteer helps save lives through the work of TPAN and our community partners.
