Jefferson's 2021 Ride for Life Chicago Challenge
IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN!!! On September 12th the Ride for Life Chicago will return from pandemic hiatus, and all of our riders will pedal up to 100 miles that day to raise funds that TPAN uses to help people living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS. This will be my 10th year of participation in this important event.
Can you help this year? As an alternative to a one-time gift, please consider a recurring monthly donation, for as little as $5/month (more if you can). The benefit to TPAN would be immeasurable, to count on funds month after month. No amount is too small to make a difference in people's lives. I don't take your support lightly, as I know all of us have been affected by the pandemic in some way.
If you are not able to contribute financially this year I completely get it. Instead, please share my Facebook updates. Spreading the word is a valuable way to contribute and I'll be grateful for your help in any form.
Test Positive Aware Network provides essential services to area residents living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS. Even during the pandemic, TPAN's counselors provide services to hundreds of Chicago-area clients every day. This is my 9th consecutive year raising funds and awareness for TPAN and their clients. I believe in their mission and hope you can help too!
Thank you for supporting my efforts and #TPAN.
Through the Ride for Life Chicago, thousands of donors and more than 300 volunteer cyclists, advocates, crew, and team members help provide care to 2,000 people every year in Chicago and a lifeline of HIV health and treatment information to more than 100,000 people across the country. Our mission is to empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. The name “Ride for Life” reflects this event’s powerful impact: every mile, every donation and sponsorship, and every volunteer helps save lives through the work of TPAN and our community partners.
