Patrick Lannon's 2020 Ride For Life Chicago

The year 2020 has been a trying, difficult time for many....oh hell,it's been a shit year for so many so far.
Our country, our city, our community are facing multiple challenges, from which I truly hope we come out on the other side of these challenges with a healthier, more equal and just society.
There will be changes for the Ride For Life Chicago 2020. We're not quite sure how things will play out for the participants. But one thing we are sure of is that TPAN still needs our support to continue to do the life saving work for their clients that they have been doing for over 30 years.
I'm participating in this event for the 11th year to raise vital funds to support HIV services in the community. In addition, through my participation, and with your support we will continue to raise awareness around HIV in an effort to reduce the debilitating effects of shame and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
The months of training and preparing for this Ride is nothing compared to what people living with HIV go through on a daily basis. Thank you for supporting my efforts.

Through the Ride for Life Chicago, thousands of donors and more than 300 volunteer cyclists, advocates, crew, and team members help provide care to 2,000 people every year in Chicago and a lifeline of HIV health and treatment information to more than 100,000 people across the country. Our mission is to empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. The name “Ride for Life” reflects this event’s powerful impact: every mile, every donation and sponsorship, and every volunteer helps save lives through the work of TPAN and our community partners.
