Welcome to My Personal Page - Mario Camacho

Despite this year's troubling pandemic and humanity's battle against another deadly virus similar to HIV, I have decided to be part of efforts to help TPAN through an individual goal effort of 1000 miles. This year's ride will not be the same; however , I am determined and I will be joining many of our team members to support TPAN. My personal Goal will be 1000 miles of which I have already completed about 70% riding mostly alone With safety measures and face coverings. This personal challenge will help me continue to remain healthy , get back into shape , support TPAN along side with our dedicated ChainBite Gang team! hundred miles in support of the 2020 Ride for LIFE Chicago.
I'm participating in this event to raise vital funds to support HIV services in the community. In addition, through my participation, and with your support we will continue to raise awareness around HIV in an effort to reduce the debilitating effects of shame and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
These months of hundreds of miles riden for this 1000 personal challenge is nothing compared to what people living with HIV go through on a daily basis. Thank you for supporting my efforts and I hope you can also support during this time of scarcer funds to continue TPAN operations. Thank you! Sincerely, Mario Camacho

Through the Ride for Life Chicago, thousands of donors and more than 300 volunteer cyclists, advocates, crew, and team members help provide care to 2,000 people every year in Chicago and a lifeline of HIV health and treatment information to more than 100,000 people across the country. Our mission is to empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. The name “Ride for Life” reflects this event’s powerful impact: every mile, every donation and sponsorship, and every volunteer helps save lives through the work of TPAN and our community partners.
