Welcome to Jeff and Stephen's Personal Page
Wow! 2021 marks the eighth year of our participation in the Ride for Life Chicago! What a year it has been with COVID, Black Lives Matter, and the incoming of a new administration. And this year marks the 40th anniversary of when the first cases of AIDS were reported. The last seven years doing the Ride as members of the crew have been amazing experiences for us, and we need your help now more than ever to help raise funds for the lifesaving services that TPAN and Positively Aware magazine provide. In the more than 16 years since the Ride began it has raised over $4 million for TPAN and other HIV/AIDS service organizations in Chicago; Ride for Life Chicago is committed to returning 100% of pledges made to benefitting organizations. Stephen and I have felt honored and humbled to have been able to give up a few days each year to support the hundreds of riders who give up six months or more of their lives training, fundraising, and getting in shape to help raise money for services for people living with and affected by HIV. This year we will gather together once again in person to support them and cheer them on, and we can't wait, so thank you for supporting us in our efforts!
With love and gratitude,
Jeff Berry and Stephen Osgood
Through the Ride for Life Chicago, thousands of donors and more than 300 volunteer cyclists, advocates, crew, and team members help provide care to 2,000 people every year in Chicago and a lifeline of HIV health and treatment information to more than 100,000 people across the country. Our mission is to empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. The name “Ride for Life” reflects this event’s powerful impact: every mile, every donation and sponsorship, and every volunteer helps save lives through the work of TPAN and our community partners.
