Welcome to Adam Boltz's 2019 Ride for Life Chicago Page
First, exciting news: your contribution will be doubled matched! As this is an organization that I believe does truly great work for an important cause, I will match your donation and my generous employer, Alliance Data Systems, will match my contribution. So 3x the number you see to the right will go to the Test Positive Awareness Network!
If you give $100, TPAN gets $300!!!
And if your employer matches your contribution, now we're talking triple-matching! What the what!?
Note: while I hope I raise a mllion dollars, I can only commit to matching the first $1,200 in contributions -- please help me get there and beyond!
So what will I be doing to earn your support? On September 7th and 8th, I will be joining hundreds of other individuals riding 100 up to 200 hundred miles in support of the 2019 Ride for Life Chicago. If you know me, you know I'm of course doing the 200 miles!
I'm participating in this event to raise vital funds to support HIV services in the community. In addition, through my participation, and with your support we will continue to raise awareness around HIV in an effort to reduce the debilitating effects of shame and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. People don't talk as much as they once did about the HIV/AIDS epidemic, but it is indeed still a thing! Over a million Americans are living with HIV with an estimated 35-40k new infections every year.
The months of training and preparing for this Ride are nothing compared to what people living with HIV go through on a daily basis. Thank you for supporting my efforts.
Through the Ride for Life Chicago, thousands of donors and more than 300 volunteer cyclists, advocates, crew, and team members help provide care to 2,000 people every year in Chicago and a lifeline of HIV health and treatment information to more than 100,000 people across the country. Our mission is to empower all lives affected by HIV and its many health challenges. The name “Ride for Life” reflects this event’s powerful impact: every mile, every donation and sponsorship, and every volunteer helps save lives through the work of TPAN and our community partners.
