Josh WH's Ride for Life page
Welcome to my Ride for Life (formerly known as the Ride for Aids) 200-mile bike ride page!
So, as you all know, I have a variety of exercise goals this year. One of them is the TPAN Ride for Life (all money goes to TPAN) 200-mile bike ride in 2 days (again)
A brief snippet about TPAN:
TPAN has been a force in the HIV & prevent community here in Chicago for over 30 years now. It helps HIV+ folks by a holistic approach to today’s HIV+ communities. Sometimes an HIV positive diagnosis carries additional co-occurring issues, such as; homelessness, mental health issues, substance abuse, or unemployment. By raising funds to support the work TPAN does, we are helping individuals reach levels of care they may not previously have had access to. (and letting Josh race and stay in shape)
Also, TPAN provides outreach and education, prevention, etc. In case someone who is HIV- wants to learn more about the disease.
Back to Josh:
I did this race last year, and it was fantastic. And the org is fantastic (see brief snippet above) So I am doing it again this year!
But there is a twist… (insert dramatic drum beat)
My goal for this year is 1,200 USD to raise. Since I believe in fitness and also supporting our community, I am going to match, dollar for dollar every dollar I raise, up to 900. Also I swung it with my company so they will match dollar for dollar as well up to 900 as well.
So, if I raise 1,200 from yall, then I will put in 900, and my company will put in 900 for a grand total of 3,000 USD for TPAN and the Ride for Life.
So, I ask you kindly, can you help me out, and pitch in even a dollar to this great event and org, and help me continue my fitness journey?
Thanks everyone for your help!
With much love <3
