15th Anniversary of the Ride for AIDS Chicago
September 8-9, 2018
The Ride for AIDS Chicago celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, as Chicago's biggest multi-day cycling event to benefit TPAN and HIV affected communities of Chicago through our proud participating community partners. This year's Ride moves from July to September, and our hundreds of riders, volunteers, and support teams will take on the miles this coming September 8 and 9, 2018.
Every mile, every dollar of support, and every volunteer hour advance the mission and work of TPAN and our community partners. This year, the miles follow a new route! Our participants will travel east to Michigan via numerous cycling paths along Lake Michigan, then return to Chicago/Evanston to celebrate their achievement!
The Ride for AIDS Chicago is the Midwest’s only back-to-back century cycling event. For this year only, those who feel up to the challenge will have the option of registering to complete the Anniversary Distance, which adds an additional 15 miles in each direction! If cycling 200 miles is not on your list of adventures, then consider riding the 100-mile route, or joining crew (which is a wild experience, all its own!).
All registered participants will receive complimentary indoor and outdoor training and support. Busy schedule? You can opt to register as a volunteer and support the weekend event.
All are welcome to participate in the Ride. Our participants range from individuals who are new to cycling to those who are endurance athletes to dozens of support volunteers and trained crew, as well as cheering friends and families along the route.
Fundraising Rules and Regulations:
All RFAC Riders are required to raise a minimum of $1,000 to participate. RFAC Crew are invited (not required) to fundraise and we strongly encourage Crew to set a fundraising goal of $500 to support TPAN's mission.
