April 29, 2022

Thank you for being a part of this year's Ride! It won't be long before the event weekend arrives. Don't put off your fundraising efforts. Whether you plan to ask your friends and family for donations or plan a fundraising event, get started now! Let us know if you need help getting started. Our event staff has been calling those who have not met the fundraising minimum to check in and support you. Our goal is to help you reach your fundraising target.

There’s still time for your friends and family to join you this year. We have distances starting at 50 miles, and everyone is welcome to join the crew.

Keep going, top fundraisers!

Congrats to our top individuals and teams. We are all inspired by you!

Outdoor Training

Say it isn't so! Due to weather conditions, this week's training ride has been moved to Sunday, 5/1. Hopefully, the change will make the ride safer and more comfortable. We will meet at Winnemac Park (Amundsen High Parking Lot) at 7:45 am and be ready to ride by 8 am.

Email our training lead, Patrick, at P.lannon@tpan.com if you plan to attend. Patrick is also an excellent resource for your questions about training.

Fundraising Tip of the Week: Asking for donations on Instagram

Create your first Instagram fundraiser for the Ride in just a few minutes! Make itInstagram New even easier for friends and followers to support your RFLC participation. With the newly introduced Instagram fundraiser feature, you can create a nonprofit fundraiser that will live in your IG bio for 30 days. You can share your fundraiser on your posts, stories, and live videos. Instagram is not integrated with the Ride's participant center. Therefore, let us know when you raise money through an Instagram fundraiser so we can add it to your fundraising page.

Plan a Team Funraiser

You still have time to plan team fundraisers! Team fundraisers are not only a great  way to raise money for your fundraising, but they also provide an opportunity for your teammates to bond. We can help you come up with ideas and venues for your fundraiser. Let us know if you have a team event already planned so we can support you and help spread the word.

Team UNCC put on a great fundraising event at Hydrate last Saturday. It was a big success! We had so much fun!
