The answers to these questions and the reasons why YOU give your time, energy, and advocacy are the most compelling things in asking for donations. If you would like to schedule a time to speak with one of our event staff to talk about crafting your story, contact us! We’re here to help.
Want to increase your fundraising and impact with gift matching? A matching gift is a charitable donation by a corporation that matches an employee’s donation to an eligible nonprofit organization – usually dollar for dollar, but sometimes more! A few more tips to help you become a fundraising superstar:
- Donors can spread their gift over 2-12 months. Upon your first monthly gift, any recurring donation is fully credited to your progress.
- All donors who give $500 or more will be recognized as a sponsor. Ride for Life Chicago will recognize and acknowledge sponsors on our website, social media, and at the event.
- We recommend that you donate through your personal page (also called a "self-donation") to experience what your donors will see, read, and receive as their receipt and gift confirmation. You can donate to your own campaign as many times as you like.
- You can count on our Event Team for fundraising assistance. Ask us questions, share your ideas or receive encouragement. We’re here to help!
